The Pluto Interregnum
Two slow planets and four gates. Between 1781 and 1894 Pluto passed through the four gates of the human experiential way and changed its formula. Since 1999 Neptune has been following it through the same gates, dissolving what was there.

Ra taught this alongside the global cycle change of 2027. The four gates are the same for both planets. What differs is the work each planet does in them.
Four gates make the way
The 41 and the 30 form the Channel of Recognition: working out which way to go to reach the dream. The 36 and the 35 form the Channel of Transitoriness. Ra describes the 36 as breaking into new experience and pulling others along with you. He calls the four gates together the human experiential way.
Pluto changes the formula
Pluto was in the 41 in 1781, the year Ra gives for the arrival of nine-centred beings. It reached the 30 in 1793, the 36 in 1815 and the 35 in 1894. Pluto brings the end and the new beginning. In the 36, Ra says, the yes to experience began turning into a no.
The carriers leave
An imprint stays in the field as long as someone born with it is alive. Ra placed the last people born with Pluto in the 35 at around 2012. After that, nobody alive carried the old formula.
Neptune dissolves the old
Neptune follows the same path: the 41 in January 1999, the 30 in February 2009, the 36 in March 2022 and the 35 in 2057. With Neptune in the 30, the gate of the fates, the way ahead stops being clear.
The cycle closes
Pluto is back in the 41 for 2027, as the Cross of Planning gives way to the Sleeping Phoenix. Neptune returns to the 41 in March 2162, which Ra gives as the end of the whole process.
Ra's dates, calculated
Ra gave these dates in 2009. We calculated each planet's position for every day. Slow planets go back and forth over a gate edge for a year or two, so some entries have a first touch and a final entry.

Our reading
Positions are apparent geocentric longitudes on the tropical wheel, the method used for charts. Ra's 2162 falls on Neptune's return to the 41, one full orbit after January 1999.
One thing the calculation shows that Ra doesn't mention: at times between July 1894 and May 1896, Pluto and Neptune were in the 35 together.
